Cristiano Ronaldo Wants To Return To Manchester United

Since the Star Striker, Cristiano Ronaldo moved from Manchester United to Real Madrid for a world record transfer fee at the time, of £80 million (€94 million) after the 2009–10 season. It has been good football for the Portuguese top striker.

However, Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly “disappointed” at Manchester United’s lack of effort to sign him so far this summer. The Portugal international €50m (£44m) was expecting the Red Devils to be forthcoming with an offer to meet his €50m (£44m) wage demands, according to Don Balon.

Ronaldo caused a stir in the wake of Real’s 3-1 victory over Liverpool in the Champions League final when he hinted that he has played his final game for Los Blancos.

United have been installed as the bookmakers’ favourites to land the veteran forward, who previously played for the club between 2003 and 2009, but an official approach is yet to be made.

Ronaldo was absent from Real’s official kit launch for 2018-19, adding fuel to rumours that he will leave the club this summer.
