See Romelu Lukaku’s Record Against Manchester City

The Red Devils, Manchester United welcome rivals Manchester City to Old Trafford on 10th Sunday afternoon aiming to become just the second side to take points off the Premier League leaders this season.

The Citizens have slipped up only once in their opening 15 matches, being held to a 1-1 draw by Everton on match day two, and are eight points clear of their second-place opponents heading into this weekend’s crunch fixture. One of the areas City have outperformed their neighbours is in attack, having scored 46 goals compared to United’s 35, with Sergio Aguero (9) and Romelu Lukaku (8) leading the scoring charts for their respective sides.

After a storming start to the season Lukaku has since stuttered somewhat, bagging just two goals in his last 13 outings in all competitions. Ahead of the first Manchester derby of the campaign, Sports Mole looks at how the Belgium international has fared against Pep Guardiola’s men in the past.
