Jacob Zuma has resigned as the President of South Africa (See Why)

Jacob Zuma has resigned as the President of South Africa ahead of a deadline his party ANC had given him. In his word he said;

”I have come to the decision to resign as president with immediate effect”

Announced during a televised address late on Wednesday night, ending 9 years of scandal-hit rule. Cyril Ramaphosa, leader of the ruling ANC, is due to be sworn in as his replacement later today.
