(EXCLUSIVE) WHEN SOFOLA WELCOMED OSINBAJO TO KOSOFE AS VP VISITED THE OLOWORO OF OWORONSHOKI

The Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Hon. Afolabi Sofola, on Monday, welcomed Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to Kosofe local Government area when he paid a visit to the palace of the Oloworo.

The Kosofe council boss, before a tumultuous crowd, welcomed the Vice President who arrived at Oloworo’s palace at 3:20 PM in the company of APC Lagos state governorship candidate Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

He later accompanied the Vice President to meet with the Oloworo after introducing him to the trio of Hon. Bayo Osinowo, Hon. Rotimi Agunsoye and Hon. Sanni Okanlawon who were at hand to receive the Vice President.

Professor Yemi Osinbajo, after discussing with the Oloworo in his palace, came out and addressed a gathering consisting of Party members, CDC, market women, artisans, religious groups and residents of kosofe local government area who had gathered in the compound of Oloworo to welcome him.

Prof Osinbajo while noting that general elections is fast approaching urged the gathering to vote massively for APC Presidential candidate in the forthcoming general elections in order for Lagos state to continue to enjoy the fruits of its political alignment with the Federal Government.

He stated that Lagos state is bound to benefit from massive infrastructural development and job opportunities if President Muhammadu Buhari is reelected for 2nd term while citing the positive effects of tradermoni given to market women and the Lagos – Ibadan rail line project.

He said: “I want to say to everybody that the next four years will be very important for Lagos state. Federal Government will be able to bring a lot more to Lagos state.

“For 16 years we have been in opposition. It is now the turn of Lagos state to enjoy the benefits of the Federal Government. We are going to make sure that we provide more jobs. We have started with the foundation and we are going to build on that foundation”.

He therefore beseeched them to cast their votes for all the APC candidates from Presidential, Gubernatorial to the House of Assembly.
