“Osun State Is Lagging Behind” -Writer “Adedigba Stephen” Reacts

Reactions flood social gatherings after the big news reportedly broadcast official court decision on the September 22nd 2018 governorship election of Osun State.

According to the development, judge held that there was merit in the appeal filed by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Senator Adeleke, adding that the declaration and return of Governor Oyetola by INEC was null and void.

Therefore,  PDP candidate, Senator Adeleke, is now being instated as the winner of the election and duly elected governor of the state.

Meanwhile, iconic citizens and patriotic Nigerians remain shocked by the decision. This, they share individual opinions on matters arising as triggered.

At this juncture, young Nigerian writer, Icon Adedigba Stephen demystified state of the matter. To him, the breaking news is far beyond victory but its significance.

In his review, Icon Stephen called for good governance at all cost. Underlying lack of infrastructural development in the State.

“Justice smiles at ‘DANCING SENATOR’
…the hope for a better Osun

For David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, the verdict of the tribunal court sitting in Abuja to pronounce his uncle, Senator Adeleke as the winner of the Osun election means that justice has been restored to the Political Space in Osun State.

To the dancing Senator, the verdict of the court is of great significance as it represent limelight for the people of the State, which he best describes as ‘IMOLE TI DE’.

The pronouncement of the court will spring up numerous political analysis and arguments. The likes of Seun Okinbaloye and Babajide Ogunsanwo will be eager to give political arguments to this effect. All sort of reviews and opinions will be released.

But beyond all this, the people of Osun State or State of Osun like the ‘Ogbeni’ named it deserves good governance that will meet the social needs of the people.

Far beyond politics, in my opinion I think Osun State is lagging behind when it comes to infrastructural development. The state to me has not experienced tremendous growth as it is one of the States in the South West that has really nothing to boast of.

I plea on behalf of the people of Osun State to the dancing Senator that the people deserves more.

Let light shine again in the State of Osun.
