Serious Damages As Vehicle Runs Into Drainage In Maryland, Lagos

It was shocking as Lexus SUV Jeep lost control having ran into drainage at quiet boulevard of Bamidele Daramola Street,  Off Akinwunmi in Mende, Maryland, Lagos.

The accident took place this afternoon as vehicle broke off main gate leading to the street, having the two front tires buried in the process.

It would have been worse, the confronting gate reduced the speed of the vehicle otherwise, the building would have been penetrated on motion.

Meanwhile, the driver who could not explain the incident wanted to make a U-turn as he miscalculated gearing reverse for drive.

It is indeed a testimony as no casualties counted apart from the vehicle which got damaged and the gate.

However, security men and passersby in the neighborhood assisted as they came out to pull the vehicle.
