Cobany – Renegade (Audio+Video)

Cobany, one of Nigeria’s rising hiphop stars debuts the video this recently released head bopping tune, Renegade. Cobany has been on the scene for a minute now, and the southern Nigerian rapper is showing no signs of stopping, any time soon. Shot and directed by Eli Tette Doamkpon in Ghana, the video shows Cobany in his element, rapping in a tunnel under bright lights, symbolic of his rise as a rapper – still a bit under, but currently on his way out, and up.

Cobany is poised to release more singles and videos in the coming weeks, and a full body of work in the coming weeks. This video also comes on the heels of his recently released single, “Fear”, a song he talks directly about the issues of depression, suicide and mental health. Cobany is one artist you cannot ignore, as the versatile rapper is known for his head turning flows and lyrics that will get you meditating and nodding along.
