BREAKING! G Worldwide Sues Kizz Daniel for N500 Million

The owner of G Worldwide “Emperor Geezy” former Kizz Daniel’s boss has recently sued the singer for 500 million naira. G Worldwide sues Kizz Daniel yet again!

Recall the legal battle between Kizz Daniel and G Worldwide in 2017? Well it seems the case of stage name wasn’t the problem. Despite dragging the act and forcing him to change his name’s spelling, G Worldwide offers a fresh law suit to Kizz Daniel.

After releasing his sophomore album ‘No Bad Songz” this year, Flyboy Entertainment boss has been slammed him with another lawsuit totaling N500 million by G Worldwide.

In a matter filed by originating summons G Worlwide and its counsel, Dr. Olisa Agbakoba (SAN), it seeks legal redress for breach of recording contract against the artiste and infringement of its intellectual property rights by the artiste. The matter is before a High Court sitting in Lagos.

 

However, when the matter appeared before the High Court on Monday, October 7, 2019, the claimants prayed the court for a stay of proceedings so it can settle the matter via the alternative dispute resolution method, arbitration – a stipulation of he contract signed between both parties.

Another prayer before the court was for an amendment of originating processes. The label also seeks N200,000,000 in general damages and N179,499,957.00 in special damages for breach of contract and N150, 000, 000 for contract exit fees, among other reliefs.
