Nigerian singer and songwriter Ayo Balogun popularly known as Wizkid is set to release his 4th studio album titled “Made in Lagos” following his previous albums ‘Superstar (2011)’, ‘Ayo (2014) and ‘Sounds From The Other Side (2017)’. The sensational act Starboy Wizkid failed to drop the “Made in Lagos” album last year despite promising his fans. But in 2019, the singer has vowed to drop the album this year.
Here are 6 things we know about Wizkid’s 4th Studio Album “Made in Lagos”
- Release Date
There is no confirmed release date for “Made in Lagos” album, but the album will definitely be out before October 19th as confirmed by Wizkid.
- Pre-order
The album is not yet available for pre-order as of October 2nd 2019.
- Collaborations
Just as we saw in his previous studio albums, Wizkid is definitely going to employ the services of several top artistes. So far we can confirm collaborations with Burna Boy, Shaydee, Terri, Teni and Jamaican Legend Damian Marley.
- Track List
Wizkid is yet to reveal the track list to his “Made in Lagos” album. For now, we can confirm “Joro” produced by Northboi and “Ghetto Love” produced by Killertunes and Kel P.
- Any Singles?
Of course! It is more than a tradition for artistes to drop singles off their album prior to the release of the album. We expect to see his 2019 singles ‘Ghetto Love’ and ‘Joro’ in the album.
- Any Hits?
Yes. With ‘Ghetto Love’ breaking records in US as the first afro beat song to make it to NUMBER 1 on US HIP/HOP video iTunes chart and already on billboard’s world digital sales chart.
