Wow! Wizkid Bags Another International Recognition (See Details)

Starboy Entertainment boss, Wizkid who is on a partnership recording deal with Sony Music and RCA records has bagged another international recognition with his epic verse on Beyonce’s ‘Brown Skin Girl’.

Wizkid made a guest appearance on Beyonce‘s latest project ‘Lion King : The Gift Album’ where he performed “Brown Skin Girl” with Blue Ivy and Saint JHN.The song earned a NAACP nomination after winning the Soul Train Awards. The song won the Ashford and Sampson Songwriters’ Award. The credited songwriters on the song are; Beyoncé Knowles, Carlos St. John, Adio Marchant, Shawn Carter, Stacy Barthe, Anathi Mnyango, Michael Uzowuru, Ayodeji Balogun and Richard Isong.

“Brown Skin Girl” has been nominated for “Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration” at the 2020 @NAACP Image Awards.

Wizkid is the first Nigerian artist to be nominated for an NAACP Image Award.

Wizkid has received an NAACP Image Award nomination for Brown Skin Girl.
