Ajax Terminates Contract Of Former Player Abdehak Nouri, After Recovery From Coma.

Dutch Side Ajax announced the termination of the contract of Abdehak Nouri. A former player of the club who suffered severe brain damage and has been in a coma over 3 seasons ago.

The 22 year old collapsed while warming up for a preseason friendly against German club Weirder Bremen In 2017.

In 2018 Ajax agreed to pay for medical care for life for the player who suffered a permanent brain damage and may not be able to live independently again.

Abdehak Nouri last week woke up from coma, but is yet to be discharged from the hospital permanently.
