Alleged Bank Account Hackers Arrested In Anambra State

A six-man gang suspected to be bank account hackers were arrested on Wednesday in Anambra State.

The suspects specialise in phone theft which is their major tool of operation as its been used to siphon money from victims account.

Haruna Mohammed the Public Relations Officer (PRO) in Anambra State disclosed this information to newsmen of the state as 23 mobile phones, 13 memory cards, leaves suspected to be Indian hemp, codeine and N102,000 were recovered from the suspects who already has withdrawn over N851,000 from the account of one of their victims before their arrest.

According to the PRO, the suspects were arrested after investigations and intelligent reports we’re made by the police operatives attached to Division ‘B’ Awka.

He gave the names of the alleged suspects as:

1) Patrick Abraham (Cross River State)

2) Louis Uche ( Imo State)

3) Abamu Junior ( Edo State)

4) Anugwam Chinemelem (Imo State)

5) Ayaro Ago (Delta State)

6) Nkem Emmanuel (Delta State)

As seen, its always advisable to report cases of missing or stolen phone to the police because most of these criminals have a way to implicating victims by using their Sim cards to cause havoc and such Sim cards can be traced back to the innocent owners.
