Corona Virus: Pastor opens cash app account to collect tithes

Pastor Creflo Dollar has allegedly opened a cash app account to enable him collect tithes from his viewers as the rapid spread of Covid-19 or Corona Virus has led to the shut down of public or social gatherings including church services.

The Atlanta based gospel preacher, televangelist and rapper recently raised a campaign in his church for a private jet meant for evangelism. Creflo was heavily criticized by many who believed he was ripping his generation by holding such a campaign for funds.

Pastor Creflo Dollar is the founder of non-denominational World Changers Church International based in College Park, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta.

Just recently, he launched his account on Cash app in order to receive tithes from his church members who can no longer make it to service due to the ban placed on public gatherings and the sit at home self isolation to prevent the spread of the virus.
