FG Embarks On Cash Transfer And Food Relief Intervention To Poor Homes In Nigeria.

Nigeria’s minister of humanitarian affairs Sadiya Farouk says the Federal government has commenced cash transfer and supply of food relief intervention to the poorest homes in Nigeria amidst the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Nigeria as of today has recorded 131 cases of the virus spread, across 10 states of the Federation. And has also recorded its second death already.

The minister of humanitarian affairs,stated that, the vulnerable group will be expanded to consider more persons during the period. Because the government is aware that there are people who live on daily wage in the country, and will thus ensure the food relief intervention gets to them.
