Ighalo Fails To Score As Everton Hold United To A 1-1 Draw.

Odion Ighalo almost got on the end of a possible winner for Manchester United in their encounter against Everton today. The Nigerian forward came in as a substitute for the Red Devil, but was unable to seal a chance that could give United the win.

Manchester united’s Bruno Fernandes was very influential in this encounter as he claimed his first United goal from open play. He was able to pick out passes and was very comfortable at the number 10 position.

An error from De Gea, gave Calvert-Lewin the opener but he quickly atoned to deny the striker again later in the game.

However there was a late drama in the game, when Everton’s goal was denied by VAR, and declared an offside. The drama continued at the end of the game, when Everton coach, Carlo Ancelotti was handed a red card by the referee for an issue not yet known to us.

It was an exciting game however, with both teams having a share of the loot.
