Lagosians React As Gov. Sanwoolu Opens GofundMe Accounts For N2billion Relief Funds For Explosion Victims.

Lagosians react as Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has opens a GoFundMe account to raise 2 Billion Naira Relief Funds for victims of Abule Ado explosion.
While speaking at the scene of the explosion yesterday, the governor said the State Government alone cannot bear the victim relief responsibilities alone but a GoFundMe account will be opened with 250million Naira only from the state purse.

Earlier today, the Governor announced that the GoFundMe account is ready and appealed to Nigerians to contribute whatever they have to support the explosion victims.

However, Nigerians still showed displeasure at the attempt of the Governor opening a GoFundMe account and appealing to Nigerians to contribute whatever they have to support the explosion victims. And a lot of questions were coming in as regards why a government that generates N30bn monthly and about N360bn yearly cannot foot a 2billion Naira bills for victims of explosion in the state.
