Basket Ball Hall of Fame Selected Kobe Bryant For An Award!!

The death of Kobe Bryant brought shock to the world as he was with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna when his helicopter crashed in January. Kobe a 5 time Los Angeles Laker Champion was 41-year-old when he dead.

Kobe’s career has received sport’s highest honor: The Los Angeles Laker Legend headlined the list of players selected to the Basketball Hall of Fame. The honor that was announced on Saturday may be one of the most superstar-laden corps of inductees in the sport’s history. Along with Kobe, the following Basket ball players were also nominated honored.

1) Tim Duncan: Won five NBA championships and two MVP awards

2) Kevin Garnett: Won MVP title and his own title at the age of 21

3) Tamika Catchings: Third on the WNBA’s list of all-time leading scorers. The class is rounded out by four coaches and an executive.

Kobe’s wife , Vanessa along side her older daughter told ESPN that, “Its an incredible honor and accomplishment, and we are extremely proud of him. Obviously we wish that he was here with us to celebrate, but its definitely the peak of his career” Vanessa said.
