Coronavirus: Oluwo of Iwo assures Nigerians that God will “sheath his sword in 6 days time” and we will “all heal together”

COVID-19, the respiratory disease caused by the new coronavirus, has spread to every continent except Antarctica. Not too long after the virus was first discovered at the end of December, labs turned their sights toward treatment.

Currently, however, there is no cure for this coronavirus, and treatments are based on the kind of care given for influenza (seasonal flu) and other severe respiratory illnesses, known as “supportive care,” according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). These treatments essentially treat the symptoms, which often in the case of COVID-19 involve fever, cough and shortness of breath. In mild cases, this might simply mean rest and fever-reducing medications such as acetaminophen (Tylenol) for comfort.

In hospitals, doctors and nurses are sometimes treating COVID-19 patients with the antiviral drug oseltamivir, or Tamiflu, which seems to suppress the virus’ reproduction in at least some cases. And many doctors have been dieing over the worldwide after contracting the virus from COVID-19 patients. Oluwo of Iwo has said that the ”end” of Coronavirus is in sight.

The King of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi has been actively expressing his concerns about the Coronavirus.

A little over a week ago, he issued a spiritual warrant of arrest for the deadly virus, adding that he has “pronounced the arrest of the deadly virus through his office with the ultimatum of 16-day for the menace to vacate the world.” (read here ).

10 days has passed since his proclamation and he took to Instagrm to assure his followers that in 6 days time, God will “sheath his sword” and we will “all heal together”.

He wrote: “Stay safe by keeping the distance and wearing masks, help your neighbour in need by feeding them and always wash your hands whenever you handle money and touch anything, check on your neighbour’s… we in this together until God kabiyesi Olodumare sheaths His sword in 6 days time and we all heal together !!
