COVID-19: Day- 54, Coronavirus Summary In Nigeria

The first index of the Coronavirus was on 27th February, 2020 after it was recorded that an Italian who was positive without signs as at 27th, came to the country on a business trip. Its 54 days now and the cases being recorded in Nigeria keeps increasing.

As at 20th April, 2020, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) released a report of the total confirmed cases, discharged and death on their official twitter handle.According to NCDC as at 20th April, there was thirty-eight new recorded cases with Kano state the highest recorded.

Kano State which is the most populated state in Nigeria, holds the third highest hit case in Nigeria as Lagos and FCT still hold first and second position respectively. Lagos State- 376 FCT- 89 Kano- 59

As the cases keeps increasing just after 54 days, It wont come as a surprise if more directives and restrictions are made by the Federal Government as the Coronavirus does not respond or respect codes neither does it know any bar line.
