COVID-19: Imams And Alfas Set To Commence Three Days Pray And Fasting In Ogun State!!

Its no longer a news that the Coronavirus has done more harm than good to our social life, economy and religious activities since its outbreak in Nigeria. The Coronavirus has no hand or leg, but has flown from nation to nations and from state to states.

The Rabbitah ( a group of Imams and Alfas) in Ogun State has declared a three days fast over the Coronavirus pandemic. Scientist all over the world are yet to discover a vaccine or drug to combat the virus as more affected and death cases are been recorded on a daily basis. Lagos State remains the highest recorded case in Nigeria according to the Nigeria Centre of Disease Control (NCDC).

The Secretary-General of the Rabbitah association, Tajudeen Adewunmi announced the three days fast on Monday. According to Adewunmi, the three days fast would commence on Tuesday 7th April as part of the spiritual effort to tackle and end the current pandemic.
