As the pandemic sweeps from country to country, Nigeria just hits its first 1000 mark. According to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), as at 11:30 pm 4th April there are 1095 confirmed cases of the Coronavirus reported in Nigeria. In the last 24 hours, there was an increase cases of 114, 1 death.
Lagos State records an additional 80 cases making Lagos the highest hit state with the Coronavirus with a total of 657 confirmed cases.
Reported New Cases: Lagos State- 80 Gombe State- 21 FCT- 5 Zamfara State- 2 Edo State- 2 Ogun State- 1 Oyo State- 1 Kaduna State- 1 Sokoto State- 1
Benue, Anambra, Adamawa and Plateau States are the States having the least number of confirmed cases in Nigeria with just 1 cases in all 4 states.
As the Federal Government makes directives to curb the spread, Nigerians should also play their own part in other halt the spread.
