However, it is rumoured that thirteen of the total cases Osun has were Ivory Coast returnees who have been isolated by the State Government.

The Osun State Government on Saturday said it had received and kept in isolation some indigenes of the state that recently returned from the Ivory Coast.

The travellers, said to be about 120, arrived in the state on Friday and were moved to a government facility in Ejigbo where they would be observed for 14 days, as part of measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

With the latest discovery, many residents that our correspondent spoke with are eulogizing the administration of Governor Gboyega Oyetola for being proactive in handling the returnees.
