Edo State Chief Of Staff Resigns From Office.

The Chief of staff to Edo State Governor, Taiwo Akerele, has resigned from his office as the chief of staff to the state government.

Akerele said his decision to part ways with the Edo State Government is based on principles. He stated that his resignation was not connected with the lingering crisis between the Governor and the APC National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.

He appreciated the Governor for the opportunity given to him to serve in the state and also thanked His Royal Majesty, Oba of Benin, Oba Ewuare II for his immense leadership and support during the period of his service.
