France And Germany Evacuate Citizens From Nigeria

The world faces a global epidemic which has put various nations on a lockdown. A virus which has put countries with better health care system in a state of confusion and has made world leaders to take strict measures in other to curb the present pandemic.

Over 637 Europeans has been evacuated from Nigeria and the Republic of Benin. Air France and German airline, Lufthansa were the airlines to have made the alleged evacuation on Thursday.

Normal flight operations in Nigeria were closed as a measure from the federal government of Nigeria to curtail the spread of COVID-19 in the country that has recorded two deaths so far.

It was gathered that over 399 French and Dutch citizens were evacuated by Air France while Lufthansa evacuated 238 Germans. Over 142 from the 399 of French and Dutch citizens were said to have been airlifted from Cotonou, Benin Republic. They joined the 257 others at the Murtala Muhaammed International Airport Lagos.
