The senior pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye has donated N20 million naira to help tackle the spread of COVID-19 in Osun state.
The General overseer, disclosed the information today on his Instagram page and also revealed that he will continue to support the state and as many people with food stuffs, relief materials, safety gears, sanitizers and other essentials.
The intervention comes to show appreciation for God’s mercy in the state and also to show that the church is truly called the salt and light of the earth.
Below is a quoted statement made by Pastor Adeboye on his Instagram page:
“Each time I visit Mount Carmel prayer village Ifewara, I can’t but thank God for His mercies. Looking back at those days, basic health care was even a shadow of what it is today but it’s better than what it used to be. We have been called to be salt and light to the earth and the first place that should benefit from the sweetness and illumination is home, this is why I’m supporting the Osun state government in the fight against COVID-19 with the sum of N20 million naira. I know this might not fully cater for all areas but this is my token. We will continue to support as many people with foodstuff, safety gears, sanitizers and whatever is essential through our CSR (Community Social Responsibility) arm His love foundation. God Bless you all”
It’s also good to know that Osun state is the home to the Redeemed Christian Church of God prayer mountain, Mount Carmel Prayer Village Ifewara.
