War of Words Between Shekau And President Idriss Deby: We Are Coming After You, Surrender or Die!!

Chad President, Idriss Debt led a troops of Chadian Soldiers in a battle with boko haram terrorists around the lake chad region killing many members and destroying their base and capturing weapons from the Boko Haram.

The leader of the Boko Haram group, Abubakar Shekau has threatened to go after Idriss Deby the President of Chad. Shekau who sent an audio recording released by the Boko Haram spoke in Hausa was not pleased by the huge loss suffered by his members. Shekau said his group would go after the Chadian president in full force and they are ready to fight on.

“He came out fully dressed up with the ambition of fighting the religion of Islam because we said we will work for the enthronement of Islam. We are hear to follow the instructions of Allah and to pass his practice of Islam down to the people the way he wants it. I am Abubakar Ibn Mohammed Shekau, don’t think because you fought battle in ignorance not according to Islam we will triumph and you can’t do anything to us” Shekau said.

The President of Chad, Idriss Deby responded to Shekau in French, he said Shekau should surrender or be prepared to die in his Dikoa hideout. Idriss also said Shekau will be treated the same way some of his commanders were killed.

The Chadian President has vowed to launch Operation Wrath of Bomo to avenge 92 soldiers who lost their lives in the recent seven-hour ambush.
