2 New COVID-19 Cases Recorded In Rivers Teaching Hospital.

Dr Nsirim Larry, the Public Relations Officer of Rivers State University Teaching Hospital (RSUTH) announced that two new covid-19 cases have been recorded in the state.

The recovered patients were a female security working in the hospital and another female patient admitted into the labour ward.

Dr. Larry revealed that the hospital management will ensure to decontaminate the labour ward and radiology unit immediately while sample collection of the direct contacts to the patients would begin immediately.

According to latest update from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) verified on Friday night. Rivers now has 89 confirmed cases with 23 discharged and seven deaths,
