59 Persons Released From Gombe Isolation Centres.

While giving newsmen an update on efforts made by Gombe state to combat the spread of covid-19, Prof. Idris Mohammed, Chairman of Gombe covid-19 taskforce announced that 59 persons have been discharged from the state’s isolation centres after testing negative.

Prof. Idris revealed that out of the 59 persons discharged, 20 were admitted at the Federal Teaching Hospital (FTH) Gombe and the remaining 39 at Kwadon isolation centre in Yamaltu -Deba Local Government Area of the state.

At the moment there are already 1,272 suspected covid-19 cases in the state. While 118 tested positive and 299 are still waiting for results.
