Arsenal and Tottenham Join Race to Sign Super Eagle Striker Victor Osimhen

Premier League giants, Arsenal and Tottenham has  identified Lille and super eagles striker, Victor Osimhen as a potential youngster.

According to Daily Express, Arsenal is bent on signing the 21 years old Nigerian as a replacement for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Aubameyang looks set to leave the Emirates after this season, when he would have one year left on his contract.

The Gabon striker has so far failed to agree new terms with the Gunners.

Tottenham on the other hand has shown keen interest in hiring the services of the young striker to provide support for Harry Kane.

But now the player’s agent has claimed he already told Mourinho that Osimhen will not join the North London club while Kane remains there. Former Super Eagles sensation appointed as youth coach of big European club.

Ariyo Igbayilola, in an interview with The Cable and cited on The Sun, said: “We told Mourinho that if he wants Victor, will Harry Kane be leaving? “If Kane is still playing for Tottenham will Victor play? Because he will always be benched for him. “Kane is their number one striker and he is the captain of England. All of these will always work for him in the club but at Victor’s detriment. “He needs a club where he will always play full game week in, week out. Not to be kept on the bench.”
