COVID-19: We Will No Longer Re-open Religious Centres – Benua State Govt

Benue State Government on Saturday said it will no longer re-opening of worship places and market amidst the coronavirus pandemic.

This is coming two days after the government ordered for the re-opening of religious centers.

The reversal, Governor Samuel Ortom said, was premised on the federal government’s advice to states to be cautious about restarting economic and social activities.

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, Benue has recorded five cases of COVID-19 as of Friday.
