First COVID-19 Death Has Been Recorded In Anambra.

Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano announced in a special broadcast, that the state has recorded its first confirmed case of a coronavirus related death.

The deceased was a 66-year-old man who was among the 10 confirmed positive cases in the state. Stating that deceased did not report to the health authorities early enough.

The governor also announced that there are 10 confirmed cases of the infection in the state, out of which three cases including the index case have recovered from treatment and discharged.

Obiano further advised citizens of the state to stay safe during this time and observe all personal health hygienes.
