Jeff Bezos May Become The World’s First Trillionaire By 2026. (See Why)

World’s richest man, Jeff Bezos might become the world’s first trillionaire by 2026 if his wealth continues growing at at its current rate.

Bezos’ wealth has been increasing at an average yearly rate of 34% over the past five years, according to an analysis from software review site Comparisun.

This analysis shows that Bezos could hit the trillion mark by 2026, when he will be 62. Despite turning over Amazon shares worth an estimated $38 billion to his ex-wife, MacKenzie Bezos, as part of their recent divorce settlement.

Software review site Comaprisun took an analysis of 25 of the world’s richest individuals and found that only 11 had a realistic shot at becoming trillionaires during their lifetime, and Jeff Bezos is likely to get there first.

According to Bloomberg, Bezos is currently worth around $138 billion and has seen his fortune grow by $28.3 billion so far in 2020. At the same time Amazon’s success continues to boost Bezos’ personal fortune as the sales hit high too.

We hope he gets to the four comma status in time.
