Killings In The North: Nigerians Lampoon The Wife of Kaduna State Governor For Showing Less Concern

The North will never forget is not just a saying, but it’s really the truth. The rate at which people die- in fact our Nigerian brothers, Sisters, Mothers and Fathers of the north is getting really out of hand. Our Leaders need a wakeup call as soon as possible.

In Southern Kaduna, there have been reported cases of massacre as people get attacked almost every week and it seems like no action has been taken against the attackers as pictures of lifeless citizens where seen and others running for their dear lives.

The Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai is yet to make an official statement in regards to the present killings but his wife and first lady, Hadiza Isma El-Rufai took to her twitter page to joke on her follower range.

“Yay! 80, 000 followers, how many more followers do I need in order to qualify as an influenza” Hadiza tweeted.

As the mother of the state, this feels like the wrong time for such a tweet when a part of the state is in total chaos and under attack.

Nigerians on twitter have responded to her tweet as they feel she shows less concern and affections towards victims and families affected.
