LaLiga Is Set To Restart On June 11.

Javier Tebas, La Liga president announced on Friday that the Spanish league is hoping to resume on June 11 and start the 2020/21 season by September 12.

“God willing, we will restart on June 11. We are waiting for Madrid and Barcelona to move onto phase two (of easing of lockdown rules).” He stated.

The Spanish government last week gave La Liga the green light to resume from June 8. With all matches played behind closed doors.

The Laliga president also added that television viewers would be able to choose whether to watch matches, which will all be played behind closed doors, with virtual sound effects added.
