Ogun State Extends COVID-19 Lockdown Till May 24.

Ogun state Governor, Dapo Abiodun announced at a press conference he addressed at his Okemosan office in Abeokuta on Friday evening, that COVID-19 lockdown in Ogun State has been extended till May 24.

According to Governor Abiodun, he has decided to extend the current lockdown because of the increase in community transmission of Covid-19 and Ogun resident’s refusal to obey government directives to curb the spread of the virus.

The Governor explained that people will be allowed to come out for essential business activities on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, between the hours of 7am and 5pm.
