Oyo State COVID-19 Cases Rise To 162.

Oyo state Governor, Seyi Makinde has announced that the number of confirmed covid-19 cases in Oyo state has risen to 162, as 19 new cases were confirmed on Wednesday, May 20, 2020.

In a report by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Wednesday, 19 cases in Oyo were among the 284 recorded in 13 states.

Governor Makinde revealed that fifteen of new cases were from iSON Xperiences – a company situated at Dugbe area in Ibadan, Southwest Local Government Area.

The Governor also added that two of the cases are from Ido Local Government Area while the remaining two are from Ibadan South East Local Government Area.
