Pastor Test Positive For Praying For Deceased COVID-19 Patient In Rivers State

A pastor had tested positive for Coronavirus after praying for a dead COVID-19 patient to recover in Rivers state, POLITICS NIGER reports.

Governor Nyesom Wike made this known on Friday while briefing reporters on efforts by the state government to contain the pandemic. The governor added that two children of the deceased COVID-19 patient have also tested positive for the dreaded virus.

Wike noted that the wearing of face masks in public places has become compulsory across the state. He, however, blamed security operatives deployed to enforce borders’ of receiving gratifications to allow people into the state.

The governor finally warned traditional rulers and community leaders of consistently defying the closedown of market places and other areas.
