The World Health Organization has revealed the number of Coronavirus confirmed cases in the continent. The deadly COVID-19 has killed 2,500 people in Africa, while 25,000 people have recovered from the virus.

According to a tweet, by the United Nations health agency on their official Twitter account on Friday. There are Over 75,000 confirmed #COVID19 cases on the African continent – with more than 27,000 recoveries & 2,500 deaths.

Below is a list of 20 African countries with the most covid-19 cases:

  1. South Africa – 12,739 COVID-19 cases (238 deaths).
  2. Algeria – 6,442 COVID-19 cases (529 deaths).
  3. Ghana – 5,530 COVID-19 cases (24 deaths).
  4. Nigeria – 5162 COVID-19 cases (167 deaths).
  5. Cameroon – 2,954 COVID-19 cases (139 deaths).
  6. Guinea – 2,473 COVID-19 cases (14 deaths).
  7. Senegal – 2,189 COVID-19 cases (23 deaths).
  8. Cote d’Ivoire – 1,971 COVID-19 cases (24 deaths).
  9. DR Congo – 1,299 COVID-19 cases (50 deaths).
  10. Gabon – 1,104 COVID-19 cases (10 deaths).
  11. Guinea Bissau – 913 COVID-19 cases (3 deaths).
  12. Niger – 876 COVID-19 cases (50 deaths).
  13. Mali – 779 COVID-19 cases (46 deaths).
  14. Burkina Faso – 773 COVID-19 cases (51 deaths).
  15. Kenya – 758 COVID-19 cases (42 deaths).
  16. Zambia – 654 COVID-19 cases (7 deaths).
  17. Equitorial Guinea – 594 COVID-19 cases (7 deaths).

South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Ghana, and Nigeria have continued to top the list of countries with the highest reported coronavirus cases.
