Two New COVID-19 Deaths Recorded In Oyo State.

Governor Seyi Makinde announced two new covid-19 related deaths in Oyo state, via his official twitter page on Wednesday.

The governor revealed that the patients died last night and this brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths in the state to six. While 17 persons have recovered from the virus and have since been discharged.

Sadly, two of the six positive cases confirmed today had already passed away. So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State is 250 and the total number of deaths is six.

Governor Makinde stated as follows;

Seventeen confirmed COVID-19 patients have received their second NEGATIVE test results and have been discharged. This brings the number of discharged cases in Oyo State to seventy-five.

Sadly, two of the six positive cases confirmed today had already passed away. So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State is 250 and the total number of deaths is six.

As at Wednesday, May 27 the total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 infection in Oyo State stands at 250.
