World Leaders Pledge $8.1 Billion In Quest For COVID-19 Vaccine.

In a telethon conference held on the 4th of May 2020, World leaders pledged 7.4 billion euros ($8.1 billion) in the quest for a coronavirus vaccine.

World leaders have suggested a vaccine is the best chance of beating the virus which has killed nearly 250,000 people around the world, with 140,000 of them in Europe.

Major European powers, along with Japan and Canada, made the biggest pledges from around 40 countries, but there was no official representation from the United States.
