Heavy weight boxing champion, Anthony Joshua, has explained the real cause of his knee injury, after the boxer was pictured with crutches in a racism protest.
Anthony Joshua reveals that he injured his knee while running in the woods but insists he will recover quickly. Joshua said in a statement; Respect for the supporters concerned about my leg,’ Joshua said in a statement;
‘I buss my knee running miles in the woods.‘Still training, still active, still punching. Two weeks to [go], then it’s off.’
The 30-year-old was due to defend his IBF, WBA, WBO and IBO world titles against Kubrat Pulev this month but the fight has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Althougha rescheduled date for the fight against Pulev has not been announced but Joshua has confirmed that his preparations are not likely to be affected.
