Breaking: Vincent Enyeama named as new goalkeeper coach of French club, Iris

Retired Nigeria goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama has been named as new goalkeeper coach of French National 3 club side, Iris Club de Croix.

Enyeama, 37, played for French club Lille during his playing days, but has been without a club since he left the club in August 2018.

Now, Iris has given the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner a coaching role where he gets to train the club’s reserves and u-16 goalkeepers.

In a statement released on Iris Club’s Facebook and Instagram page, the club announced his new job which starts immediately.

Enyeama began his professional career at Ibom stars in 1999 before joining Enyimba where he helped the club win three Nigeria Professional League titles, two Caf Champions Leagues and one Caf Super Cup diadem.

From 2005 to 2018 saw him play for Bnei Yehuda, Hapoel Tel Aviv and Lille .
