Burna Boy Wins “Best International Act” At The BET Awards For The 2nd Time In A Row.

Grammy-nominated Nigerian Artust, Burna Boy was named the Best International Act at the 2020 BET Awards.

Amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, 2020 BET Awards held its first ever virtual ceremony on Sunday.

The event hosted by former Real co-host Amanda Seales honored Black excellence in entertainment and sports.

The win makes it Burna Boy’s 2nd in that category after doing so in 2019. As He beat popular acts like Sho Madjozi, Santan Dave and Stormzy to win the award.

Nigerian Starboy, Wizkid also won the BET Her Award for Beyonce’s ‘Brown Skin Girl’ alongside Saint jHN and Blue Ivy Carter.

However, Rema lost out to Sha Sha of Zimbabwe on the Best New International Act front.
