Covid-19: Three-Year-Old Child Tests Positive In Imo.

On Wednesday the Chairman of the COVID-19 taskforce in Imo state, Professor Maurice Iwu announced that a three-year-old child tested positive to Covid-19 in the state.

According to Professor Iwu, the child is from a family of six, who all tested positive to the virus. He revealed that the child and family members have been isolated.

With this announcement Imo State currently has seven active cases of the virus and efforts are on to ensure that about 100 persons are tested per day.

However, Prof. Iwu urged people of the state not to panic maintaining that Coronavirus is real but not a death sentence.

He also advised residents of the state to continue to adhere to all the precautionary measures put in place by the government.
