Emperor Mochi’s Abena Continues To Dominate Music Charts

In spite of the ongoing pandemic, 2020 seems to be a good year for Afropop singer, Emperor Mochi, with the growing success of his latest single titled ‘Abena‘.

After many weeks since it’s release, the record has continued to gain popularity following it’s impressive stream of rotation on broadcast media platforms across the South South.

In Benin City, the song is one of the most played songs on radio.  On KUFM’s ‘The Underground’ chart, the record maintained its number one spot for another week while staying on top of  Rhythm FM’s ‘The City Ten’ chart for an unprecedented eight weeks run from March to May.

The music video of the song which was shot by Leroy Uwaifo has also gotten positive reviews and has been growing in numbers on YouTube.
