Kano state government has announced that it will commence a house-to-house sample collection for covid-19 tests in the eight Local Government Areas (LGAs) of the state.
Governor Abdullahi Ganduje revealed that the emergency exercise is expected to take place within the Taurani, Nasarawa, and Kano municipal local government areas where most of the confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 are concentrated.
According to Ganduje, Kano state will improve on its successes in the fight against COVID-19 which is a result of the commitment of the Task Force and the frontline health workers.
Earlier this week, Kano state government eased the total lockdown in the state and allowed movements from 6am to 6pm on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
