Police Makes Full Statement on The Man Who Was Arrested For Allegedly Defiling A 3-Year-old

The abuse cases in the Nigeria is taking a different turn as we wake-up to fresh new cases weekly. The Ogun State Police has made a statement on the arrest of the 23-year-old man for allegedly defiling his neighbors’ 3-year-old daughter.

The suspect, Quadri Badmus was arrested following the complaint made by the mother of the victim to the police at Owode Egbado station few days ago. The distraught mother who told the police that she saw blood in her daughters private when she came back from the market. She interrogated her daughter and the little girl revealed it was Badmus.

Confirming the arrest, the Public Relation Officer for the Ogun State Police, DSP Abimbola Oyelele said: “We have arrested the suspect as further investigation is ongoing. The victim has since been taken to the hospital where it was confirmed that she was defiled. The suspect is not just a neighbor but a friend to the family as they stay in the same compound. The Commissioner of Police has ordered for the case to be transferred to the Anti Human Trafficking and Child Labor Unit of the state for further investigation and possible persecution if found guilty.”
