Wickedness: Alleged Kidnappers Kill Father, Son and Friend After Collecting N75m Ransom

Operatives of the Intelligence Response Team have arrested members of a kidnap syndicate, for allegedly killing victims after collecting N7.5m ransom from their family.

The news that was disclosed by DCP Frank Mba, the Public Relations Officer, in Abuja during the 26 suspect parade, as the suspects were unlawful possession of firearms and other sundry offences, told newsmen that the group, abducted one Dr Audu Benedict, his son and friend while they were on their way to Abuja.

The suspects contacted the families of their victims and demanded the sum of N7 million after they have collected a cheque of N500,000 from Dr Audu, which was successfully cashed out.

What are humans turning into? It’s that bad to steal from someone, and even worst to kidnap. But the most annoying part is, you went ahead to kill the victims after collecting such a huge amount of money even when there is financial struggle in the country generally.

According to DCP Frank, he stated, “Among the suspects, we have a kidnap syndicate that specializes in terrorizing people of the North-Central zone.”
