Breaking: Nigeria records 454 new cases of the novel COVID-19 with total infection cases now 27,564

Nigeria records 454 new cases of the novel COVID-19 which took the total infection case to 27,564, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said on Friday.

Nigeria recorded 626 cases yesterday, but it reduced to 454 today. The death rate also rises to 628 from 616.

According to the health agency, Lagos state recorded the highest number with 87 as it reduced from yesterday’s 193 cases. Edo followed with 63 as FCT recorded 60 new cases.
