Chelsea moved up to third in the Premier League table after winning Crystal Palace 3-2 in a five-goal thriller at Selhurst Park.
The Blues opened the scoring just six minutes into the game with a goal from Frenchman Olivier Giroud, before American, Christian Pulisic doubled the lead in the 27th minute.
Just before half-time, Ivorian winger, Wilfried Zaha, reduced Palace goal deficit to just one goal, after he netted a wonderful strike in the 34th minute.
However, Chelsea increased the goal margin after Tammy Abraham netted in goal a Ruben Loftus-Cheek assists in the 71st minute.
Just over a minute later, though, Palace were back in the game when a brilliant move culminated in Patrick van Aanholt squaring for Christian Benteke to tap in just his second goal of the season.
The win today brings Frank Lampard’s men closer to sealing a place in next season’s Champions League as a seventh win in eight games takes them two points ahead of Leicester, who travel to Arsenal later on Tuesday, and opened up a five-point lead on fifth-placed Manchester United.
